Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines
I have a Whirlpool Thin Thin stackable unit. It had a leak at the lower front. I traced the leak to the water pump. I replaced the pump and the leak was resolved. I then started the unit and a new problem surfaced. The Agitation Cycle started as expected and ran for approximately 6-mins before the unit completely stopped. The timer continued running, but all washing stopped until the timer approached the Rinse Cycle. Agitation began again during the Rinse Cycle for approximately 4-5 mins, and then stopped again. The tank is still completely full of water at this point and has never dumped. No other action occurred as the timer went through the Spin Cycle untill reaching Off. The whole process completed with water remaining in the tank. The lid was closed to activate the lid switch during the process. The problem is repeatable and predictable in all mode settings. Please help. Thanks.
Maybe check the belt is it cracked worn or fibers showing if so replace it
