Call the lady back and tell her the mobile number has not transferred to the new phone and is not working. Also check call diversions are not active for unconditional diversion to another phone number .

If your contacts from the previous phone is not save to your sim card,, there's no way you can retrieve unless if you still have the old phone that has those contacts......
