P/2 mouse not working on desktop. I'm afraid I haven't got a clue how to even navigate thru my computer without a mouse. What should I do at this point?Was working fine until today. I moved yesterday and am in a new place now. Could the move have damaged something? Would using a USB mouse solve my issues?

try inter changing the PS2 ports of the Keyboard and the mouse, else you may think that the mouse may have been damaged and as you had mentioned a USB mouse would be an alternative and would even work

navigating windows w/o a mouse is a simple matter of hitting the windows key and then the arrow keys to navigate the menus. Plugging in a USB mouse may very well be the quickest way out of this. Try that 1st, let me know at

USB mouse would be a quick fix i use them alot never any problems yet

but possible the p/2 plug or mouse is just damaged
