My iphone 3g was accidentelly fall into water, and it wont start

i dropped iphone in a bucket of water, my problem is the its screen doesnt have brightness. i have given it for repair,but they have returned it back saying that its not the problem of lcd, they says its because of the board

Hello, I sorry about your iphone and water damage is serious, you have a couple of options, one is to wait for time for it to dry out and see if it works, i did this once and it worked for mine but it did take time but it wasnt an iphone... if you have insurance then you could claim and send it off for replacement or repair.. it could be that it might be a complete replacement.
