The bobbin thread on my Janome 9000 is showing in the stitching. The bobbin thread pulls over to the left when sewing a zig or multi zig zag stitch. What to adjust?
make sure the bobbin is not warped make sure the bobbin is inserted correctly into the bobbin case & turned the correct way change the needle if none of these suggestions help,, then it would be a good idea to have the machine checked
Janome have one standard plastic bobbin that fits almost all their models except 1600P, 1600P-DB, 1600P-DBX and MB4. So if you see packets of plastic "Janome" bobbins for sale they will be the right ones.
they are called janome bobbins, but need to be flat ( there are some out there with a curve). the best place is to try an janome store as i have had a few that will not fit
hi there do you mean the bobbin race or just the plastic bobbins
both are avaliable from janome direct also plastic bobbins avaliable easily from any sewing store selling janome accessories or try e bay mary h
About all you can or should need to do is remove the bobbin case and clean the lint and stuff out from under it. There is a wick in the center of the hook( the part the bobbin case sits on). Do not mistake this for lint and pull it out. Put a few drops of sewing machine oil on it. For anything more the machine should probably go to a technician as it involves splitting the case and there are some hidden screws. The machine should be serviced once a year if you use it a lot or less often if you don't use it that much. In no event should you go more than 5 years without a professional service. sewman7
I have a Janome 9000, was sewing and broke needle, replaced and broke another. I didn't have machine threaded, took out bobbin and would sew a little and stop saying thread broke. I took off top plate and started machine again, sew a little and stop saying thread broke. So I took out bobbin case and sewed again and stopped repeating the message. Everything looks OK, bobbin case and top plate. I guess I want to know if the timing could be off or do you think it is the computer part of the machine...Should I take it to the Sewing Machine Shop??
