If your freezer is on top,you most likely have an overflowing defrost drain. there is a drain that starts in the freezer and continues down to the drip pan. start at the top and work your way down.

SOURCE: water drips inside our refridgerator

Sound to me your refrigerator has a defrost condensate drain blockage.I There are many reasons for this happening for example water leaking from a water supply line for the dispenser or ice maker, a crack in the defrost pan, water leaking inside and draining through the refrigerator cabinet, but most are cased by a defrost drain line blockage. Below is a link that may be helpful so try to take it all in and use the parts that most refer to your specific problem, Thanks Sea Breeze

Water in refridgerator

Have a look inside fridge compartment (especially the "roof", if it's a top-mount freezer) & see if you can see any ice build-up (look inside vents that allow cold air into fridge from freezer section. Also, if top-mount freezer, look inside the freezer compartment for ice build-up on "floor", inside vents, or on back wall. These symptoms, combined with water dripping from lots of the "roof" of fridge section (in a top-mount freezer model), can mean several different problems, so best to re-post with more info/symptoms included.
If there's no ice build-up (& the dividing area between fridge & freezer sections isn't particularly cold, which otherwise might indicate hidden ice build-up), it can be as simple as a plugged or obstructed drain tube, which is VERY COMMON. Easiest solution for this latter problem is to use a flexible plastic tube (think similar type as attached to aquarium air pumps), stuff it into drain hole, and blow on the other end. Sometimes you have to blow quite hard to clear an obstruction or complete blockage. If you can't clear the drain tube, it's likely a different problem. Again, a re-post with more info/symptoms will help narrow it down.

Water collecting on top shelf of refridgerator

Your defrost drain line in the freezer has stopped up. The defrost water is coming in through the air vent to the fresh food section.
Turn the unit off and use a hair dryer to defrost the drain hole located behind the freezer panel.

One of our A/C vents is constantly dripping. We have not used the A/C in over 3 months and this is just started to happen. Why? We live in MA.

Hi,
The reason for the vent dripping is because you have warm high moisture content air going up into the cold vent.
This creates condensattion that fills the duct and then drips out the vent.
There could be quite a bit of water up there in the duct if there is a pocket for it ti lay in...

You need to get the vent closed off tight so that warm air cannot back into the vent while you are not using the A/C over the winter.

This probably has not happened but just in case... check that there are no holes in the ductwork that could be allowing cold air to enter the duct work and fall into the house. This will also create condensation at the vent.

I hope that this will help you to solve your problem!

Thanks for using Fixya!!

The access cover for this type of refrigerator is in the refrigerator section, you must remove the screws and the cover will slide out, if the fan motor is not turning or you have ice build up , you need to replace the fan motor, because it is not working properly, a new motor will allow the air to circulate and this should correct the cooling problem.

Fridge

Clean the door seal and ensure that there are no gaps between the sealing surfaces of the door seal and the refrigerator, if there is, relatively warm moist air will continually feed condensible moisture to the cold gap in the seal and the condensed water will drip on the floor. If the door seal its self is broken or torn it will have to be replaced to stop the drip.
Hope this helps.
