Look at the rear of tractor There should be a rod sticking out of rear with an indicator showing a cotter pin. you pull rod so cotter pin comes through hole and rotate so that it is held outside of body. Gears should be free

Does the mower have a brake lock? This will often allow you to go in reverse but not forward until released.

When i put it in gear it starts grinding like it wont go all the way into geer

I assume you have a manual transmission. If so sounds like your clutch maybe shot. To test your clutch put the park brake on while the truck is stopped.. shift into 5th gear and slowly let release the cluth.. the engine should die. If the engine does not die you clutch is slipping and needs to be replaced. How many miles on the vehicle ?

The garage door will not open all the way to the top. Is there a reset switch or calibration swith on the opener?

If this just started you need to check the door springs and the drive gear. Both of these will cause this type problem. Check the springs for a broken one and you need to remove the cover from the motor unit and look at the drive gear. It is white nylon and is just in front of the motor.

The make and model number would really help.

I have a Husqvarna model 435.Having trouble starting.Do I squeeze trigger when starting? Is there a trigger lock for starting?

Did you read the starting procedure in your OM? It is similar to this:
Start Procedure
  1. Ignition on/off to on.
  2. Set compression release – optional step even if saw is equipped with a compression release.
  3. Pull (close) choke, set fast idle (done when choke closed on some saws); pull starter and listen for an attempt to start. once heard (usually two pulls; no more than 4).
  4. Set compression release – optional step even if saw is equipped with a compression release.
  5. Push (open) choke pull starter until it starts. (usually first pull).
  1. Ignition on/off to on.
  2. Set compression release – optional step even if saw is equipped with a compression release.
  3. Pull (close) choke, set fast idle (done when choke closed on some saws) – Do not pull with choke closed.
  4. Push (open) choke, pull starter until it starts. (usually first pull).
Flooding is most common reason for hard starting in 2-cycle engines.

IPLs and OMs for all Husqvarna saws can be found here:
Enter the 3 digit model number (no XPs, Es, just the numbers)

2003 Jaguar s-type Transmission fault car wont move

First off check the battery. Try and jump start it. If that does not get the vehicle running you may have a problem with your J gate as it will not start unless in park or neutral. If an internal electrical fault has happened then the micro swith may not send a signal to the ecu to allow the car to start. the J gate is the gear selector by the way
