Hi there ....this condition is ususally caused by a water leak into the sump of the dishwasher which activates a safety switch to run the drain pump..preventing the appliance from being used....Remedy...tip the dishwasher back in the head allowing excess water to exit from the sump...then with the door open check that the air vent lock ring is secure, thet the salt unit retaining ring is secure..and finally that the filter unit to base screws are secure...this done re-start and you should b fine

if this machine uses an electrical-mechanical timer with cam switches, the try oiling the shaft bushings both for the timer motor and cams-the timer may be getting stuck because of dry or corroded bushings

if that fails then try emptying the over flow try found behind the kick panel below the door. 2 phillips screws will be found either side under plastic screw covers, behind kick panel you will find the cover for all internals remove a total of 6 screws from these covers, then with a torch you will see the internal workings of the machine. located at the bottom of it all is a small kidney shaped tray that may have some/alot of water. this is the over flow tray. empty by soaking up the liquid with a sponge. reassemble then try starting it.

Not sure if you have got a user manual for this dishwasher. You can download one from this site.
You have a flood situation inside the dishwasher. See page 12 of the manual. There may be no water at the bottom of the machine but there is some overfill occuring. Also see error codes on page 13. This can be either because the flood detection circuit is faulty and giving false trigger or there is water in the base of the dishwasher housing due to leaking door gasket or hoses.
Some things to try. Turn mains power off and back on and see if there is any difference.
If not, then turn power off and pull dishwasher out from the kitchen benchtop. Put a few towels on the floor and tilt the dishwasher side to side on the base and see if any water comes out. Wait 5-6 minutes and turn power back on. See if it makes any difference.
