If you can't remember where you filed that one bookmark, search for it directly from the address bar. Type the name of the bookmark and look for the [STAR] icon next to the results that appear, which indicates matches from your bookmarks. You can also see all your bookmarks in 3 places:
Bookmarks bar: The bar is docked under your address bar by default for easy access. If you don't see it, you can find it by opening a new tab. To toggle the display of the bar, just press Ctrl+Shift+B
Bookmarks menu: Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar and select Bookmarks.
Bookmark manager: The bookmark manager makes it easy for you to organize bookmarks. Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar and go to Bookmarks > Bookmark manager.
Use bookmark folders to keep your bookmarks organized. To create a folder, right-click the bookmarks bar and select Add folder. Hope this helps!
To drive
website traffic of a social bookmark website is not a problem so why are you
finding alternatives? Now you do not do bookmarking on the desktop of your
computer or laptops because you have a great option that is definitely more
attractive for you and your uses. You have also the option to add any of the
page to your bookmarks list. Existing method has become unacceptable and
invalid because of some reasons like wastage of time when you told to your
friends about your favorites web pages through email or phone call. If you
are using traditional method of bookmarking and in this way you save it on
your desktop.
Bookmarks are used in Mozilla Firefox, Opera & Google Chrome browsers. Internet Explorer uses Favorites. In Internet Explorer you just click browse to the webpage you want to save as a favorite then click Favorites, then click Add To Favorites and a popup window will appear with an option to create a new folder. In Mozilla Firefox browse to the page you want to bookmark, then click Bookmarks, then click Bookmark This Page. A popup window appears and you can select the drop down arrow next to Unsorted Bookmarks or the Gray Arrow just to the right of the unsorted bookmarks arrow. Both of these arrows are for folders and when you select either one you will see an option for a New Folder. In Opera browse to the webpage you want to bookmark, then click Opera at the top of the in the left hand corner and it will expand giving you options. Click Bookmarks, then click Bookmark Page and a popup window will appear allowing you to create a New Folder. In Google Chrome click on the wrench in the right hand corner at the top of the browser window. Then click Bookmarks, then Bookmarks Manager. When Bookmarks Manager opens you will see it has an Organize option, and when you click it you will see an Add Folder option. But the Add Folder option will be grayed out and unusable unless you highlight one of the folders already existing under the Bookmarks column.
Welcome to FixYa!
Just click on favorites on the top of the page of internet explorer(located alongside the section where you could see files, view, etc..) then click Add to Favorites. Then just click Add. You could also create folders for your favorites if you'd like and you could see on the favorites tab as well.
Hope this helps! Thank you for using FixYa!
In bookmarks menu choose "show all bookmarks". Go to that folder and click on the one you want to remove. Backspace, it is gone. Drag it to the trash, it is gone.
If it is in the Bookmarks bar under the toolbar, just move the bookmark into space and watch the puff of smoke. Goodbye bookmark.
You may need Quarkto achieve this, I print them from QuarkXpress v4.1 using "PrintToPDF". This works like a printer driver but it converts any blue, underlined Courier text to a hyperlink (e.g. http://www.The-Cool-Book-Shop.co.uk ) and it creates a "bookmark" link for any text which is set in a specific typeface (e.g. Helvetica 14pt bold) and secondary "bookmark" from any text set in another typeface (e.g. Verdana 12pt). So all I have to do is ensure that my required links are in the correct typeface then select "PrintToPDF" in the "Chooser" and the job is done!
