It doesn't boot up. It can be turned on but it won't boot up. After 3 - 5 minutes, it is turning off even though it has a full battery charge. How do you fix this kind of problem?

SOURCE: Dead Garmin

I had the same problem - worked great for a year and yesterday was totally dead - not a hint of powering up.

I pulled the blue front "frame" off and held the reset button for about 5 seconds. It powered back up and works like a champ!

Locking the player will not allow the player to charge properly, no matter how long you have it plugged in.

SOURCE: LG Renoir Battery issues

My renoir has just developed this issue.

I have tried 2 batteries, tried re-flashing the firmware (even tried a custom firmware) and nothing.

I am buying another battery to see if i were unlucky with the battery I bought.

This does not appear to be an uncommon issue as I have found several threads online regarding this. No definitive answer as yet.

SOURCE: The starter won't completely turn over even though

Sometimes on the Briggs and Kohler engines, the compression release fails to operate at the proper time or is malfunctioning. A remedy for this is to remove the valve cover(s) and adjust the OH valves per the manufacturers specifications. This enables much easier starting, produces less wear and tear on the starter and may allow your new battery to completely turn that engine over. Out of adjustment valves mimic a weak or failing battery quite well and the engine hangs up on the compression stroke because the compression release system is not working properly. Adjust those darn valves.

1.Check the device's battery level for at least two bars of strength.
2.If the battery level is low, charge the battery.
3.If the issue is not resolved, remove the back cover.
4.Remove the battery.
5.Wait 10 seconds.
6.Press and hold the W key.
7.While pressing down the W key, re-insert the battery.

Computer just shuts off when i unplug even though shows full battery

POWER SUPPLY & BATTERY PROBLEM
If thelaptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptablecharge level then the battery needs to be replaced.
