SOURCE: 2005 ford f150 reverse is slipping

Time for a clutch if it has a standard transmittion, or maybe fluid change and band adjustment if it's an automatic.

SOURCE: I have a 2001 chevy silverado pick-up, regular

Here is a link to specs for that year model of truck, I would need more info such as auto/manual, and 4x4 or not. Anyway it's an easy chart to read. But technically speaking a 1/2 ton pickup is only rated to carry 1,000 lbs in the bed. I wouldn't personally suggest doing more than that, if you overload the bed you can have trouble steering and stopping. I hope this Helps please rate this thank you

In general, yes. This is a carb tuning issue. Another possibility is a vacuum leak somewhere, but most likely, it's a carb issue. You'll typically see your rpm drop a bit when you put it in gear, but that it sometimes stalls out points to a carb issue.

It should be changed every time you do a brake job. 20 to 30,000 miles

Service engine light is on, and overdrive light is flashing. what should i do. I have a 2002 F150 SuperCrew

Take it to Autozone or the likes and have it scanned for the codes that are being reported.

Get the actual code numbers ( should be in a Pnnnn format, where n=0 to 9, i.e. P0174 ), not what the guy at Autozone thinks needs to be changed.

With the OD light flashing, could be part of what is going on with the engine, but that is usually a transmission error reporting, something wrong with the solenoids or shift mech in the trans.
