Question about Haier Mechanical Air Conditioner HWF05XC7

Haier cprd12xh7 air and heat unit

Facing the unit, on the left air outlet hose, there is a big white fan easily visible. That fan has come apart (on the right side of the fan). There is still a good 75% of that fan left. In fan mode is the only way I can run it as it doesn't use this fan. I've had the unit for about a year and a half. Do you think I could damage the unit if I clean out the broken fan parts and run as usual.

Hello. after reading you're situation on this unit, I am not sure what this fan you are talking of, what role it plays in the system. Maybe a secondary fan for extra air flow if needed. You say it has come apart? What I picture is the fan blade not the motor is plastic and pieces have broken off. With many years with experience working on motors of all sizes, voltage, from 300 H.P. to 1/16 a/c motors and more, I would say you will be fine if you remove the broken parts of the prop/blade and run as usual. You say you don't run the fan but if you do run it and you say you have 75% of the prop left on it, as long as it isn't out of balance and the prop/blade is plastic, no damage will will take place at all. If you loose any more of this fan blade, I wouldn't use this fan until you can find another to replace it, but I strongly believe that you will be fine if you clean the parts out and run a you always would with not causing any damage at all to this unit. So, the answer to you're question is no, you will not cause any damage to this unit, and go right ahead and do what you wanted to do, it will be fine!! Contact me anytime if you have any more questions about any other problems you may encounter and need help. Thank you for using all of us here at, as we are here to help you solve you're problems and we are the best around to do this!!!
PS, If this were a condenser fan motor, blower, heater inducer, you would need to replace the blade as the unit would not run anyway as it would shut down on high head pressure or you would have a frozen evaporator coil if this were to happen. I am talking on central a/c and Heating units only...

I purchased a Haier Amana commercial cool portable air conditioner tonight and there seems to be something missing. There is a little hole in the rear of the unit that is discharging water, there is no...

Since there are no specific numbers for your equipment, I will respond generically. Part of the cooling process is removing moisture from the air. This sounds like it is a condensate drain. You may be missing a hose or a pan or both, that collect the moisture removed from the air. This is the only reason I know of for any A/C unit to be discharging air unless it is a water cooled unit.

I have the same model and if you have been running the dehumidifier the internal water tank will fill with condensate water. You will need to unplug the black plug (in back of unit) to release the pints of water it has accumulated in the tank. Be sure to have a pan under the plug as it will drain immediately. Do not tip the portable unit if you need to put in a shower stall to drain, as water will leak out of the internal water tank into your unit. Hope this helps.

I have this same model TV and I use it with as

You probably need an RF (radio frquency) modulator to be connected between the cable and the TV. Connect the cable to the ANT IN on the RF modulator and then use the TO TV outlet OR the three RCA outlets (yellow video, red left audio channel, white right video channel) to connect to the Haier portable TV

I bought two such modulators made by TriQuest at a local surplus-type store (i.e. Big Lots) for about ten bucks each.

Incidentally the TriQuest unit also has an S-video output.

No longer blows cold air and the unit is only 15 months old

First please clean the air filter and ensure that there is no dust settled on the filter which could chock the circulation of air.

To throw cool air the unit got to **** the air from the room and in case the air filter is blocked with dust then there will be no cooling at all.

Please ensure the thermostat knob is turned to the desired cooling level and try running the unit.

Ensure there is no escape route for the cool breeze.

Minimize the frequency of the door or window opening in the area to retain cooling efficiency.

I am sure your unit will work on taking the above precautions before operating it.

Good luck!

E2 error code on Haier cprd12xh7 portable air conditioner

Hi! You need to check pump filter. It could be jammed with a coin or hair clip. Now take the machine outside and empty it then lay it on its side and you can access the pump. Take it off, stand up the machine and pour hot water into the soap draw and check water should run out of bottom freely taking any fluff or bits with it. Now take apart the pump and clean it and dry all components before re-assembly. If the machine still doesn?t work then you need to replace the pump. Please do rate this solution as FixYa and revert for further assistance. Thanks Rylee

Left side of my lenovo 3000 n200 overheating

Usually left side of the laptop is where the cpu and air bent is located. If this is overheating, try to elevate the unit to free it to get air, or clean the airways bent. If you are still get overheating clean the unit by getting into the fan or check the fan.

Haier Air Conditioners do not have a drain hole or hose like most A/Cs. This problem can easily be solved by carefully drililng about an 1/8 or 1/4 inch hole in the bottom outside edge directly on the metal frame, around the cooling fins.... This will elt the water drain out...if you when outside and looked in while it was spitting you would see the water pooling up in there. Haier expects us to mount these units at an ungodly angle to drain the water, but drilling a small hole will help (really anywhere in that bottom plate would work since the whole bottom is a "drain pan"
