You can try removing the printhead to see if it turns on, if so, you need a new printhead, if not it will need a new logic circuit board.

Lost the remote to my akai tv was able to turn off and on yesterday i couldn't get it to turn off so i unplged it from the wall later came back home plug the tv back up and now the power light doesn't

Hi Tamara,
Mosty likely when you turned it off from the wall,it must blown the fuse because of the way it was shut off suddenly.
If you can open it up if not than take it to a qualified Tech to get it fixed.

thanks,

G..

My printer will not turn on it worked yesterday and i've done nothing different. could it be the "brick"?

Try to unplug the power adapter from the printer.

Check if it's warm or cold. It could be a defective power adapter issue. Unplug and replug the power cord into the power outlet to reset it. Bypass any surge devices or power strips. Replug the power adapter into the printer. The printer should automatically turn on, otherwise press Power button.
If problem continues, then it could be a faulty power adapter problem. I'd suggest you to contact Lexmark technical support for additional assistance.

I had a power outage in my house yesterday and today my Canon PIXMA mp 560 printer will not turn on. I have tried plugging it to different outlets. There is simply NO response from the printer.

Chances are it has blown the main fuse in the power supply, and perhaps done some additional damage to some electronic parts. The printer must be dis-assembled to make that determination.

Power Down

if you send a print from pc before the 2 minutes is over, does the printer complete the print before shutting down? the printer has somehow been forced into power-save mode. remove the power input for 15 minutes and then re-apply it...any change?
