I find the toll free number 800-851-8900 is for Hamilton Beach Customer Service. If I am correct . . .

If you made your telephone calls on a Saturday and a Sunday, then, I suspect the company does not have Customer Service Representatives available via telephone on weekends.

Fixya.com has no connection to Hamilton Beach Customer Service, so we cannot help you.

1. Plug phone in telephone jack.
2. Wait for it to ring.
3. If it does not ring for 7 days, check for dial tone.
4. When phone rings, lift receiver, put it to your ear and say 'Hello?' politely into the mouthpiece..
5. If it is a telemarketing call, say 'No, thank you' and hung up gently. Slamming the receiver down hard only hurts your new phone. The telemarketer only hears "click".
Avoid yelling and using foul language; this will make the telemarketer very unhappy because he failed to upset you.
6. If after 30 days none of your friends call you, lift receiver, wait for dial tone and dial their numbers using the keypad.
Call them at 4am, preferably on a Monday, and when you hear them, say 'HEY BUDDY!!! GUESS WHO!!!' andmake sure they have your phone number and get them to call you back right away to prove it.

Write a letter of complaint to LG.
They are a caring company and I am sure will corespond quickly.
Make copies of the corespondence from your service company and enclose the copies along with phone message dates and times.

I've got KX-TGA351BX phone. It was in use for 2 years but due to relocation it was out of use for almost a month. One fine day I tried to re-install it and found ''Dial Lock''. Unable to make outgoing calls but can receive incoming calls. Can anyone let me know how to open the lock (I forgot the old password)?

I have a solution. Call at&t. they will send you a new one. I have had my phone for 5 months and it happened to me also. There's a warranty on the phone itself that covers it from the day "you" started using it. I bought mine from a friend. Cool!! It should be here in 5 days free shipping.

TiVo-powered DVRs will attempt to make the daily call at approximately the same time of day as it was last able to connect successfully. This means that if you set up your DVR initially around 2 PM, or if it failed during an overnight call and retried during the day (and got through one day around 2), it will continue trying at that time every day. You are not able to use the phone line while it connects -- it uses the same type of modem that your computer uses to connect. The good news is that you can indeed reschedule the next attempt, but it's not exactly a setting you can change -- stay up late, and force it to connect manually overnight. If it completes normally, it will make the next attempt the next night at the same time, on its own.
