What will resolve my rust problem, drained and cleaned spa, refilled new filters, chemicals ran it, next day rusty water, should I back flush my teledyne laars series 2 heater?

yes but it sounds like the heat exchange is clogged with rust get pool chemistry back in speck that should go away also use metal sequestoring agent that will help also

The heater in the car does not heat up any ideas what the problem could be?

Low radiator coolant can cause the problem. As here's not enough coolant running thru the heater core, to heat it up. The number one reason though, is a clogged heater core. If that's the case, you will have to drain the entire coolant system and flush it with radiator flush. This doesn't always solve the problem, as it depends on how clogged and/or rusted the heater core is. Depending on what type of vehicle you have, they can be a bear to replace.

I have a Troy Bilt Horse tiller. Upon removing the bowl on the carburator, I found no gas in it. I think the fuel line is clogged. How shoud I fix this so it will start again?

Old gas in tillers is always corroding the inside of the steel tank and the steel lines, clogging both the lines and filter and inlet at the top of the glass bowl. You can fix it by removing the tank and putting in some gas, some small stones and swishing them around to knock off all the rust scale, then replacing the steel lines with high temperature silicone fuel lines as used by radio control models for nitromethane motors. A new filter and a plastic gas tank avoid a lot of this rust clogging if you can get one to fit. If the rust has been sucked into the carb jet, use a bic pen tube with the refill removed and a small length of rubber hose to blow that out too. A good trick for small engines is to get a super tiny squirt bottle, remove the spark plug and squirt the electrode with gas. Replace and you will get about three revolutions of "firing" no matter what the condition of the carburator is.

My shower no longer heats.

The problem is most likely your hot water heater; a combination of 1 or more things. 1.Accumulation of rust sediment inside (at the bottom) of the heater will make it harder for the gas flame to heat the water. 2.Where the cold water feeds into the hot water heater, there is a long plastic tube inside the heater so the water feeds to the bottom of the water heater. Occasionally this tube breaks off and the new water does not feed down to the bottom where the gas flame is. You can try flushing the rust deposit out of the bottom of the heater. Screw a garden hose onto the drain-faucet at the bottom of the heater, put the other end into a drain and open the faucet for a few minutes. This may or may not release rust deposit. As for the plastic tube, a plumber would need to examine it to see if that's the problem. The odds are that the problem is not the tube, but is rust deposit. Eventually the heater will rust through and will need to be replaced.

No heat

Over heat is caused by poor circulation of coolant. This problem can be: 1- The thermostat is not opening ( bad) causing coolant stagnant. 2- Water pump is bad, not circulate coolant. 3- Radiator is clogging up. It is full but water can not going through small clogging up tubes inside to have heat dissipated through the fines.
Since you also have no heat then I think the bad coolant causing the heater core clogged up also, unless the heater valve has a problem not allowing cooling flowing through the bypass hose to the heater core. Correct all 3 things above then you should be OK. Good luck.

the problem with no heat is caused by air temperature control blend door motor in the dash air ducting, this door moves in different positions to allow air over the heater core or to allow air over the AC evaporator core or a mix or blend of the 2 air streams to obtain the desired outlet temp.. The bad news is the dash must come out to replace this actuator.

Vibrations and banging when heater is turned on

wow! That heater that you have is meant for a very large swimming pool, quite a bit oversized, i bet i gets the job done quick though. I have seen before that somebody plumbed in a heater backwards, there are elevated arrows on the black manifold of the heater, make sure inlet and outlet are plumbed in correctly. Make sure you get your water tested. Because the water in your hot tub is no circulating as often (I assume) as a pool would be, the stagnate water sits inside the heat exchanger. What can happen, for instance, if you have high calcium, is the certain tubes inside the heat exchanged can get so clogged with calcium and they are completely shut and the banging noise is due to excessive heat build up inside the heat exchanger. This can ruin a heat exchanger very quickly and the heat exchanger is half the cost of the heater if you were to get a new one. You can check and see if tubes in the heat exchanger are clogged by taking the manifold off of the heat exchanger, and shining a flashlight down the different tubes. However you have to disassemble quite a bit to actually be able to do that.
