SOURCE: Water Leaks from bottom of machine as coffee is dispensed?

I had this same problem. Open the front door, remove the dreg drawer and then remove the brewgroup. In the back you will see a pipe sticking down with an o-ring gasket on it. Below that is a channel and a little opening where rinse water is supposed to flow into the front drip tray. It gets clogged with grounds pretty easily. I filled a hose with some water and stuck it down there and blew through it until you can see water come out the front hole. It's a little hard to describe but I hope this fixes your problem, it did for me. I just have to do it once every couple months.

HI
That is a stripped thumbscrew. You need a new one. When it starts to brew, the stripped thumbscrew pushes up and allows the coffee to fill the head and dredge drawer.
The plastic rod that has 2 small hooks on the end and has ribs around the opposite end is your thumbscrew. It holds the filter screen in place. There is suppose to be a small round nut that is molded into the position between the legs with the hooks. If you use the key to tighten the thumbscrew you will pull the nut out and then the thumbscrew will pop out of the brew head. Check the stem of the filter screen. If you have an item that is about 3/8 of an inch long and has a grove in the middle and small bumps on it, that’s the nut. You need a new thumbscrew. Remove the old nut on the stem before putting it in the new thumbscrew. Remember it’s a thumbscrew, so it only needs to be finger tight. The key is for removing only.

SOURCE: I have a gaggia deluxe coffee machine which won't

it can be 3 problems, you can eliminate them 1 by 1 in this order:

  1. Calcium in the boiler > you unscrew the filter&filter holder(2 bolts) than you unscrew the screw in center (you see it after disassembling filter holder). If it is full with calcium, the pipe which goes vertically up for few centimeters you can drill it with 3 mm drill BUT AFTER YOU TAKE OF THE FINAL 4TH BOLT. You continue and release the short pipe and provide flow from boiler, test it and clean it than with decalcifications'(it will be more easy for you)
  2. We suppose case 1 isn't, and u have flow after unscrewing the 4TH bolt, than you must check the pressure valve (it returns the higher pressure with dispensing water back to container. Follow the short rubber pipe and you will find it. check the gasket and functioning of it
  3. Pump could be to week with pressure that she can't open the spring of valve above 4TH bolt, in this case you need to change pump.

To much water flowing on Curtis 111-s Curtis coffee machine

I had the same problem. I ended up taking the coffee machine apart and found that the reason coffee trickles out around the hot water spout is that the two coffee nozzles were partially plugged. Since I Had parts of the coffee machine apart I was able to clean it easily. It may also be possible to clean the assembly using a pick of some sort and clean out the holes of the two normal coffee spouts. Inside it is just a open cavity so gentle poking around and using some steaming hot water may do the trick.
If you want to take the machine apart you need to do the following: 1) take of the warmer plate on the top - 2 storz screws but an allen key works as well 2) take off the top plate of the machine - another 4 or 5 screws - make sure you empty the beans first otherwise you will have a mess 3) remove one screw from the right hand side of the removable coffee ground tray. Once this screw is removed the front panel is free to swing open except for the pipes connecting the front 4) unclip the steam assembly - there are a couple of plastic catches on the top. this will free the steam assembly from the front panel and also free a pipe connections. The steam dispenser pipe will also come free from the steam assembly. 5) remove the coffee pipes from the up and down sliding coffee dispenser. This is a small whitish color clip with 2 pipes connecting into it. The white clip has a little plastic catch on the top that frees it. The front panel should now swing open freely. 6) remove the sliding coffee dispenser from the front door. There are 4 plastic catches, 2 on either side. the whole front sliding coffee displenser now comes free 7) Take the sliding dispenser apart by release the 4 plastic catches on the front curved planel. 8) Inside the sliding dispenser is a white plastic piece that connected to the piping released in step 5. There is a small plastic catch that needs to be pressed while pulling fairly ******* the plastic piece and bending the whole piece. 9) You will now see the plugged spouts. It goes back together really easily.
