How to change the ear pads on a Gigaware 43-122 headset?

There are lots of generic (Chinese) replacement ear pads for Sony on ebay or Amazon, you'll just have to take some measurements and try to match what's available. Check the diameter in centimeters, and the shape (round or oval). You may not find a specific listing for MDR-RF960RK but a lot are interchangeable.

The pads aren't available for purchase but if you contact them on their website Motorola may be able to help. In my opinion I think it would be less headache to just replace them. I have turned my worn-out Motorola HT820 ear pads inside out and have cut off the excess parts of the edges. This worked just fine for me. Obviously the ear pads are not as soft as they used to be, though there're not as thick as well.
