that's normal for that refrigerator it takes the heat from inside and place it on the metal outside of the refrigerator

That can be very difficult to do with a mini refrigerator. There is just not enough separation between the freezer and the refrigerator.

You will likely just have to find a compromise setting and accept the results.

In a mini fridge there are only two wires to the thermostat. I really does not matter which wire goes were because all it does is turn it off and on. Sea Breeze
