Add a name as a clerk - Retail Supplies

If you changed the PIN number for that clerk, you need to enter that, not 1. (1 was the old PIN number). My tip is never change all of the clerks in programming until you know they work after re-programming, so you can still get in using an existing clerk

Have you tried every other id? If so, you could try a flag clear (see the manual for procedure) which usually loads a clerk in order to allow programming while in program mode. Then you can edit clerk file again. Good luck

Good old machines. Off the top of my head, I think you might need to make sure you are logging in a clerk if you change a clerk name. Some are set up for cashiers so you would need to change cashier name if you log in a cashier

pick the clerk you want to use
Put you new name in the the description
you might need a number
them ESC all the way out
now Mode REG

The only option I can see that appears to pertain to your problem is the clerk sign on function. I have to ask this, was a manual included with your purchase from ebay?

Good morning! per review made on its operation manual, there's no topic or discussion about change or deletion of clerk name which would mean that you have to create a new one. In my opinion, this is made to identify accountability for the audit trail review, as well as to control possible fraud. best regards

Turn key to PROGRAM mode.
2 SUBTOTAL (the display should now show 'P2')
Now type the number of the clerk to change e.g to change clerk 3, press 3 on the numeric pad.
07 SUBTOTAL
Now type the new name for the clerk using the alphabet sheet (usually under your other keysheet).
CASH
SUBTOTAL
