Question about Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook S6120 Notebook
On the bottom of the laptop there should be a square panel about 1.25" square. It will have only one small phillips screw holding it closed. Open the compartment use a plastic fork to slide the battery out , taking note of it's polarity,(which side is up) they are availabl at most hardware and Radio Shack stores.

To reset the CMOS the easiest way is, remove the motherboard
battery for ten minute then install it again. It will clear the CMOS. Then reset
the CMOS/BIOS setup, date/ time etc. Another way to clear CMOS is, reset the CMOS
Jumper in motherboard.
To detect your hard drive you can try to check by change the hard drive cables. Change the port in motherboard. Check the BIOS setup and reset it if need.
