    WHICH CONTROL BOARD WOULD IT BE? I SEE THE ONE IN FRONT OF DRYER AND THERE IS ALSO ONE UNDER TOP COVER ON LEFT SIDE. SOMETIMES WHEN DRYER DID START IT WOULD GO OFF AFTER 2OR3 MINUTES OR MAYBE RUN PERFECT. DOES THAT POINT US IN ANOTHER DIRECTION?

First try unplugging the power cord or tripping the circuit breaker for five minutes.
If that does not clear the error, then the dryness sensor, or the control board may be damaged. In that case parts must be tested and eventually replaced after doing a diagnostic procedure to check if there are stored fault codes on the appliance.

    You need to check for stored error codes.

    To enter the diagnostic mode,
    choose any selector button other than Pause/Cancel and do this keyboard sequence:

    Press and hold for three seconds,

    release for three seconds;

    press and hold for three seconds,

    release for three seconds;

    press and hold for three seconds.

    If you did it correctly all the indicators on the console will light up for five seconds and you’ll see the code “88” in the Estimated Time Remaining display.

    If there are no fault codes stored in the board, then all the
    indicators will momentarily turn off, then come back on and stay on;
    the “88” will remain in the digital display.

    When there are fault codes stored in the system, the most recent will flash (eg.F01).

    Here code table:

    If there is F-01, then replace control board.

    If there is F-28 or F-29, replace moisture sensor.

    Parts and diagrams here.

    Regards.

How do I turn on bell on my dryer

From the Whirlpool user manual:
(OPTIONAL) Your dryer may have an End Of Cycle Signal. The
signal is helpful when drying items that should be removed
from the dryer as soon as it stops.
?
On some models, the End of Cycle Signal is fixed.
?
On other models, the End of Cycle signal is part of the
Start button and is selectable. Turn the PUSH TO START
button to ON or OFF. The signal will sound only if the
selector is set to On.

My dryer WED5820SWD wont stay running unless I hold in the start switch. It happened the other day in the middle of the cycle, also the wrinkle guard stoped working as well. I think that it is the timmer?

Sounds like you have a bad door switch, if it wont stay running and reason for the wrinkle guard not working is the electronic control (circut board) is bad.

I have a Whirlpool Gas Dryer LGR6646BI-12 the clothes feel warm but not hot and they are still damp

The Dryness Level allows adjustment of how damp or dry the clothes are at the end of the cycle.
  1. Make sure the correct Cycle has been selected for the type of fabric being dried.
  2. If the correct cycle is selected and the clothes are still coming out too damp, use the Auto Dry Level button (Kenmore) or Dryness Level button to increase the Dryness level.

  1. If the highest Dryness Level setting was selected and the clothes are still damp, the Customer Focused Drying Mode settings that are built into the machine can be adjusted.
Dryers come from the factory set to Drying Mode 1 (default). Drying Modes 2 and 3, include additional drying time.
Note: This change will affect ALL Auto Dry cycles.
  1. Machine MUST be in Standby mode before beginning. (Standby mode = Plugged in, Power off)

  1. To select drying modes, momentarily press the Auto Dry Level button (Kenmore) or Dryness Level button (Whirlpool) again. The dryer will beep, and the display will flash and show the next drying mode number.
  1. With the door open and the display flashing the desired drying mode number, press the Start button to save the drying mode and exit diagnostics.
  1. Press the Pause/Cancel key at any time to cancel changes and exit from this mode.
Hope this works............
