Re: pioneer deh-p850mp problem

Check the ribbon cable on the inside that connects the two parts.

You will need to remove the faceplate and open up the Rear of the unit.
If you bought it used, theres a good chance that the ribbon is in fact broken. If its new, check the connections on the ribbon cable.

It is a chronic problem with most all PIONEER units that fold down / out.

Best of Luck.

what you need to do is call pioneer and find a pioneer service center that is close to you as possible and get in contact with them and get a ball park price to replace the bulb in face or face of radio if it detachable you could buy just the face of the radio ... or maybe something else but have it serviced so you dont have to buy new one hope it is still underwarranty

Cannot get rear aux input source to work on pioneer deh-p6800mp. no option in function to able/disable that function. also would like to know the name of the type of plug that is used for front aux. input...

The type of plug on the front aux is a 2.5mm plug similar to what cell phones use. You need a stereo 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter, then you can run a chord with a 3.5mm jack on both ends to an iPod or some other type of mp3 player.

Pioneer DEH-P850MP Features quit working when opened

those radios have a ribbon wire that breaks on them this is why it doesn't respond to your commands. and and or sells the ribbon wires. the wire is located inback of the part where the faceplate hooks up can see silver ovals on a black rectangle where the faceplate makes contact. that is the part.

Does DEH- 1100 have any preouts? The Radio is installed in my car so I could not see the back if there is any

Yes, the Pioneer DEH-1100 has one set of preamp outputs on the back. They are located on the far left side (facing the rear) near the bottom of the unit. Left channel is on top.

Nothing works

try taken face plate off if detachable then put back on sounds like the face plate clip might be weak and or missing spring inside
but if face plate stays attached just need to clean and put back on right to deck no easy way to say that
