All the gas lines were broke up in gas tank

I have a sears craftsman weed wacker mod.# 358-795542 17in. 25cc
I got new gas lines for it but must have hooked them up wrong, I cant get the gas to move to the carb. can anyone tell me witch line goes where?
I know that the carb is ok and the primer is fine to.

Hi, I am the one with the fuel line problim.

The way the lines are is, feed line from tank goes to the carb body, primer line goes to tank.

It looks like it builds pressure in tank to push fuel to the carb, could this be the case? If so it is not building pressure in the tank!

Some primers have a in line and a return line, this one only has one line that goes on primer body.

I can see that when I push the primer boulb that it is pushing boubles to the tank.

The gas line with the filter is going to the carb. body and the gas line that is hooked to the primer body is going to the tank. I replaced these lines and now the gas is not getting to the carb. What could be the problim.
AS I stated the carb is good and the primer bulb is good.

It sounds like you have the lines on correctly but, two things I recommend trying. are to swap the fuel lines around and try priming. If this doesn't prime up the bulb then try changing the cap on the tank. This is a crucial part of the fuel delivery system. It maintains the correct pressure so the gas can make to the carburetor. Hope this helps. Please re-post with updates or questions. If you feel that the solution has helped then please accept and rate. Thanks cj2176.

The line that leaves the primer plunger goes into the carburetor, the other line from the carb is simply an overflow that returns to the (top of) gas tank or pours out in the open.

CRAFTSMAN WEEDWACKER 316-791860, WILL NOT START. HAS SPARK, FUEL LINES FILL UP, WAS RUNNING FINE, DIED, STARTED NEXT AM, RAN 5 MINS THEN DIED AND WOULDN'T RESTART

Two things which may be the problem: 1) carb need to be rebuilt or replaced, and 2) you need a new spark plug. The carb with shipping is around $50.00 from sears ( http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Craftsman-Parts/Grass-trimmer-weed-wacker-Parts/Model-3167918602008/0247/1503820/P0805032/00001?blt=06&prst=&shdMod= ) A sparkplug can be had at any small engine repair shop and most auto parts stores for less than $5.00 Start with the cheap solution... Also make certain you have fresh gas and that the oil mix is correct.

Go to the Sears URL page listed and click on the sears number you find on your string trimmer and see the exploded parts of that model.

I have a craftsman gas weekwacker model 356.791520 is there any diagram of the fuel lines. I think I repaired them wrong.

Looks like you've possibly referenced the wrong model # for your trimmer. There is a diagram available for model 358.791520, but not a 356.791520. You can find it here - http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Craftsman-Parts/Grass-trimmer-weed-wacker-Parts/Model-358791520/0247/1503820?searchedModel=791520&blt=11.

Once you get the Sears numbers for parts you need, you can find replacements for them at HyperParts.com's cross-referencing page here.

Gas line needs to go thru buttom of gas tank on sears weed wacker

Take your old line to a lawn mower parts store, ask for a new gas line of the same size. I would buy about a foot long. Push the line in the tank down into the tank(doing this with the tank empty), remove gas cap, turn upside down, a filter and your old line will fall out. Press the new gas line through the hole, push enough through that it comes out of the filler hole, place filter onto the new line, drop into tank, cut off excess and reattach to the carburator.

I have a 32cc crasftzman weed wacker need how to

This can be a little tricky, the filter is in the tank connected to the line. The line is pulled through a hole in the tank which seals only because the line is the correct outter diameter to seal the hole and not collapse the interior. Fuel line and filters are available at most places that carry outdoor power equipment parts but you must make sure the line is the exact size inner and outter as the original.
If the trimmer has a primer bulb the line goes from the tank to the bulb and then to the carburetor, a second line goes from the carburetor back to the tank, don't get them mixed up.
