Sounds like a problem with Google Maps. If you can see the browser menu, select Tools - Internet Options and change your Home Page to another site, such as http://www.msn.com . Close and open the browser again. Hope this helps.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

WinZip."Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive"

This error can happen when part of the zip file becomes corrupt during an interrupted download, copy or move.
If this error happens due to Internet connection problems (for example, noise on a phone line) then the problem can most easily be solved by discarding the damaged file and downloading a new copy.
However, if you are not able to replace the corrupt Zip file, Zip Fix Toolbox should fix the problem. Download it here: https://www.fixtoolbox.com/zipfix.html

How can I open a damaged zip file?

The zip files or system could be infected, the third-party software not working/installed correctly, the file permissions could be odd, or some security software may be getting in the way such as antivirus. If the zip files are legitimately damaged or corrupted, there are many tools and a few free ones that can recover damaged zip files. You can download program of Zip files through: - ZIP Viewer Toolhttp://www.zip.viewertool.com/.

If all you need to do is unzip ".zip" files, you do not need to purchase WinZip. Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 8 all have a free extraction tool. You just right-click on a ".zip" file and click "Extract All". First, if you have already downloaded and installed the free WinZip, you can just Uninstall it.

Easiest way to fix that problem is to save all your important files onto an external hard drive and reformat the hard drive, otherwise you will be trying to correct this with Antivirus programs and other junk that will only cover up the error message. Alot of times it is easier to format and reinstall the operating system than try to figure out tose error codes, and windows never gets their stuff right.

Good luck.
