The drive has no power.
The power adapter appears to work from the socket: the light on the adapter turns green, until I plug it in to the drive, at which point it goes dark.
I’ve tried disconnecting everything, rebooting the machine, and reconnecting – no result.
Is the problem likely to be with the adapter, or within the drive itself?
If the former, where do I buy a new one?
If the latter, how do I get it repaired in order to at least access the data and transfer it across to a new drive?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
