Question about Zhone 6211-I3-200 Router
The problem is what is described in the subject, I just simply cannot reach the modem as told to in the manual (192.168.1.1)
My IP/subnet settings are correct, I tried with both usb and lan connections and even reset the model couple of times and restarted the computer.
I am completely at loss :(
, as u say that youy ip setytings are correct, did you check your ip address, if first check your ipaddress,
to check your ip:
Click start > run > type cmd > and click ok
you would see a black window, and in the window type ipconfig and hit enter, you would fing your ip address,
check if you are able to ping your ipaddress i.e to check connectivity, in the same black window, type ping (your ipaddress)
for example if your ip is 192.168.1.1, then type in
ping 192.168.1.1 and hit enter you would find four replies then it seems your connectivity is good,
then proceed further
Click start > run > type http://192.168.1.1 > and click ok
it would prompt for the user name and passwd, so that you can login to the setup page
