Question about Apple iMac G4 20" Mac Desktop
Re-install the OS using Archive and Install options preserving user and network settings. See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1545 for more information. Archive and install while preserving users is the ONLY option for 10.6 (unless you go completely out of your way).
Sounds like a driver issue. If re-installation does not fix it then you might have a video card with bad memory.

It is problem your grapics card driver please install properly then solve your problem
