If there is water still in the drum what you need to do is at the bottom of your washing machine is where the filter is based open the round door and you should see a screw know and a drain funnel , if you have water in the drum pull out the drain funnel and let the water out using a bowl or dish take off the filter plug , using a good torch look into the filter hole and you will see a little fan, clean all around it long nose pliers job done turn power off first colin

Testimonial: "Hi Colin, Thanks for your support. I tried to clean the fan. It was already clean. Check a picture https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9pqy_9bFoKKcjRVMzBRUi1nX1E. I have suspicions that the drain pump is not ok. When I do a washing cycle a program runs (i think) until draining is required. Then washing stops and timer runs and after some time 5e error appears. Do you know how I can check if the drain pump is working fine. Regards, Serg"

Lay the machine down on one side and unscrew the pump , take out the pump and you will need a multimetre. Check the resistance which should be about 162 ish I've never had to renew one as thay always get blocked . Ps make sure you unplug the machine first and good luck, cost about £20 to £30 colin

Hey, Colin. thanks for a good luck.
I Extracted the pump and checked the resistance it was 175 Ohm . I even connected a motor of the pump and noticed that it worked. However an o-ring of the pump was stretched out and I think it blocked the pump rotation. I want to buy a new o-ring and install it.
Do you know which type and size should it be. Or it is standard O-ring for a drain pumps?
    Thanks!
    Regards.
    Serg

I found the issue. It was pump motor. When I connected it worked every other time. Looks like it was not enough power to move the motor rotor/shaft. I will buy another pump. Analogue Askoll costs around 15 euro.

Hello,
The 5E error mean:
Pump won’t empty - not draining
As usual with these error codes for not draining the first thing to do is check the pump filter but, on Samsung washing machines, the drain pump itself is often faulty. You can find how to fix this problem on youtube, just text it "Samsung washing machine 5E error".

WASHING MACHINE SHOWING ERRORMESSAGE 5E

Hello, and sorry to read about you 5E code issue.

If your dishwasher is displaying error code 5E, It can be caused by a kinked drain hose. A good indication that the drain hose is kinked is excessive water in the bottom of your dishwasher after a cycle has been completed. If your dishwasher is displaying error code 5E, your dishwasher will have to be removed to inspect the drain hose for kinks. If your dishwasher was professionally installed, contact the installer to remove the dishwasher and inspect the drain hose. If you installed the dishwasher your self, the dishwasher will have to be removed for drain hose inspection.

If your hose shows no kink's you may have a clogged pump.
