Jagged lines in the first 3 minutes of startup and freezes laptop

Whenever I start my laptop up it freezes at a random time and makes jagged lines on the screen.

I have installed new drivers and then decided to format and reinstall windows. Still no help. I then changed ram, changed hard-drive, reinstalled a different version of windows (XP which originally was Vista) and still did not work.

I would have thought it was maybe my video card but if it was it would have done it all the time. But once the laptop is started up for about 5 minutes it works fine.

it only freezes on startup and once it is started for about 3 to 5 minutes it is good to go.

My biggest problem or mind-f%$k is that it works 100% in safe mode.

Any help PLEASE :)

I do not know for sure but it sounds like the paper is not griped properly, this would cause the jagged lines. I would try another ink cart when the loose paper problem is resolved. I hope this helps.

Scanning computer to eliminate malwares, spywares and the viruses from your laptop.

2- Repairing and cleaning Windows registry.

These two tips are found to be very helpful to fix the laptop shutdown problem. Almost all the computer users surf internet which could result in viruses attacking your system. Some of these infections are really pesky and cause the machines to shutdown randomly.

The registry errors, however, are the internal errors and can become a cause of system crashes and freezes. The registry keys shall be in good health to keep a system perfect.

When I noticed my laptop keeps shutting down everytime, I tested the Intel Software Partner, RegInOut to fix the random shutdown problem with my laptop.

Jagged lines due to video driver/motherboard?!?!

If it works fine without a driver and only faults out when you apply the driver it would suggest that the driver you are using is incorrect. You may also be trying to start out with too high a resolution on your screen try lowering it before installing the driver.

Also ensure that you DO have the CORRECT driver

if yours has L75II8 on any labels underneath then go here to get the correct drivers

Also make sure you know which bios version you have as there were at least two Major revisions of this model and you may weel need to know to get the EXACT drivers

You might also want to update the bios for your revision if you can.

What does the warning light in my mini cooper mean?

With a jagged line underneath, it sounds like the low tire light. The icon looks like a "U" with a jagged bottom and a "!" in the middle.
