Question about Computers & Internet
I tried to downgrade my extensa from Windows Vista to Windows XP... But problem came when i tried to boot windows XP CD. When Setup is starting Windows, blue screen appears.. I tried a few times but the same thing happened... Then I tried to format my hard drive from DOS using Magic Partition 8 (a DOS program that came along wit my Windows XP CD). The same thing happened again, but this time with bad MBR or Partition or what so ever.... so please, can anyone help me how can I safely format my hard drive?
ATTENTION: This is NOT a HARDWARE PROBLEM... I just bought my laptop 5 days ago and it's brand new...
Yes it is nothing to do with hardware problem of yours, here is a tip to install your windows xp on your ACER Extensa, but before that I tell you that your hard drive inside is Sata so this is the solution, go to your BIOS Setup and change the setting of your hard disk from SATA mode to IDE Mode, find it their., and have your installation with your new windows xp, trust me, good luck!
