Lg driver download

If you're talking about using an LG TV as a computer monitor, the generic display driver will suffice. I've never seen any noticeable improvement on display or features when Windows displays the monitor correctly or as a generic. If your resolution is too low and you couldn't increase it, the problem is likely your resolution setting or video card driver, not your monitor driver.

MY PC dosent have vga compatible drivers and also my games are not starting so what to do to solve this problem

Sounds like the last time your a new operating system was put on your computer, the video card did not get drivers. For vga, Windows will use generic drivers if possible. Usually Windows recognizes video cards and installs the drivers. Occasionally, Windows does not recognize the video card, and you must do it yourself. Look up your laptop model online, and search for video drivers. Your best bet is from the manufacturer, or from Windows update, as you cannot always trust downloads from other sources. Depending on where you find the driver, and how it is packaged, you may have to either get it as an update, in which case it will install itself, or you may have to download it. I like to make a new folder when I do something like this - such as Jon on the C drive. Once downloaded, run the program and it will update. Make sure you have no other programs running. A reboot migh be needed. Sometimes these may be rather large downloads, so be prepared to wait if you have a slow connection. When done, I like to copy or move the update to a CD or DVD in case I need it later. Your games will not work unless they can tell which video card is installed, and if your computer is using the generic drivers, that is why they won't work.

My computer turn on color quality in 4 bit no choices

If I understand your description the video display setting is only allowing 256 colors. Basically this means the video driver being used is a generic display driver not the actual one you need to run. You need to find out what video card you have and download and then install the drivers. After that you will then be able to select the higher resolutions and color settings.

No video output from atapi dvd rw after OS reinstall, cd rw ok

>> VGA controller (vga compatible) error in the device manager

Windows has not found a "good" device-driver for the "integrated" video-controller on your motherboard; it is using the "generic" adapter.

So, trying to download the "SIS Mirage Graphics" software is an attempt by Windows to download a "specific" device-driver that matches your video-adapter hardware.

You might try installing an add-in video-card, to see if Windows will install the correct device-driver, and still boot-up correctly.

Otherwise, take the computer to a qualified technician, for trouble-shooting about your boot-up problem.

Had to reinstall xp after virus infection and now unable to change size, stuck on 640 x800

You need to download the specific video drivers for your computer. Windows only includes generic drivers. Go online to support.(my computer brand - insert your brand here).com and follow the manufacturers instructions for downloading drivers. While there I would suggest downloading all the drivers possible for your brand of computer. By the way - don't pay for the drivers, nearly all are free. Good luck

Dell 1420 Boot issue

O.k. First off a corrupted driver can be as simple as a glitch, and software glitch all the time, it's normal. In this case, it's not a driver, it's going to be the video card. The reason is that the video has a generic driver built in, this allows you to be able to see what you're doing when initially installing the system, then after the install, you download the driver for the particular video card in the machine for the maximum performance. The generic driver also works for any external monitor, until you download the driver for the external, if it supports one. Since the external didn't work, this indicates that the video card has failed and will need replaced. Without being able to view anything, you will not be able to download any drivers or do a bios flash to correct the built in generic driver. The generic driver rarely ever fails and I've never seen a failed, corrupt, or glitched generic in the seven years I've been working on laptops. Take it in for a professional diagnostics if you like, but most likely you're going to have to replace the video card.
