Question about Microwave Ovens
If magnetron (source of heating MW) or fan are not turning off, that means that there is a contact, either in magnetron connectors, or on control board connectors, or that the control board is faulty.
If the contact to magnetron and fan is closing when you open the door then it is more likely a contact in control board connector.
The problem is fixed replacing the wiring harness connected to control board, and/or the keypad/timer assembly.
Magnetron and capacitors inside the MW can release electricity even when the appliance is not connected to power. For safety reasons the microwave oven must be tested for energy leakage after repair.
