The float better be inside the tub, at the bottom, it usually only travels a couple of inches up and down... you may have a protective cover in the way of it.

Electrolux ESI 6180

I was shown how to clear your dishwasher and keep it running much longer. however, be careful when doing this. start with an empty dishwasher. pour 12 cups of cold water to the bottom area of tub and wearing latex, or rubber gloves, measre and por in exackly 2 cups of ammonia. let that solution sit there either all day, or overnight, at least a few hours, then run it through your machine, do not add anything else. do not do this with small children around. if you prefer buy the largest jug od vinegar (white) and pour it full strength into tub of your macine. let stand sevral hours, then put through a light or regulsr cycle. if you encountet that same problem empty, press drain cycle. retry usingrinse cycle instead. let me know if his resolnves your problem.

Electrolux dishwasher ESI 602W leaking

Hello - From what you are describing the leak could possibly be coming from the drain motor/pump, loose hose connection or the door seal could be severely damaged. Contact a professional to accurately pinpoint any potentially more serious issue(s) and to properly assist with the repairs.

Esi 68850 antiflood system has been activated

This means a water leak has occured into the base of the dishwasher where the pumps and motors are located. The system shuts off to prevent water damage to components and also prevent an electric safety hazard. The best solution is to find the source of leak and fix it. Ensure dishwasher water is turned off and the power is turned off at mains socket before you work on it.
check door seals and pump hoses for damage or wear and replace. If everything seems ok, then take out dishwasher from under kitchen bench aqnd shake it a few times on its base so that any water in the flood switch can dry out. Reconnect and check.

The dishwasher is not filling with water and it makes a contant buzzing noise

Whenthe dishwasher is not filling, it is your water value not opening up on thedishwasher. The constant buzzing noiseyou hear is the value that is sticking not letting the water into thedishwasher.

I have an Electrolux ESI 6104x. Regularly just after starting the dishwasher as it starts to fill for the first time the water inlet cuts out. If you turn the water off at the mains disconnect the inlet...

Disconnect the fill pipe from the back of the machine and you should see a small mesh strainer in side the dishwashers inlet valve. Check that this is not dirty - to clean it pull out the strainer and rinse under the tap.
