The dishwasher needs to be pulled out, disconnected from the power, water and drain. The bottom toe kick removed and the element ohmed out along with the thermostat. You might have to tip the dishwasher back to gain access to these components.

How do i check serviceability of thermostat and heating element on bosch dishwasher

Is the dishwasher connected to the hot water line? It should at least get hot water when it initially fills and then keep it hot when it operates.

Hi

You most likely have a fault with the Thermostat. That is common on Omega Technowash which is similar to a Smeg dishwasher. More often than not the Thermostat fails rather than the heat element. However, not to completely dismiss a failed heat element.

The thermostat is not very expensive. If you don't have the means to test the element or thermostat via a multimeter, you can order the thermostat to have a go at fixing it yourself.
Unplug the machine from its power point.
"Two screws in the front kick plate. Open these and lift off kick plate. When you open the dishwasher door you will see an L-shaped heat element which is on the bottom of the bowl on the left and back of machine. The Thermostat is the round metal head situated on the front left in between the element coils. When you look from underneath inside where you have removed the kick-plate you can see two wires going to your heat element and 4 wires going to the Thermostat (either 2 White and 2 purpule) or (2 red and 2 white).
The thermostat is pushed in from the bottom and sits in a groove of a rubber seal. You can pull it down and out from underneathe and twist and push up the replacement in its place. Make sure the sharp metal edge of thermostat is poped insided the groove, otherwise the machine will leak.

Try this first, I am fairly sure it is the thermostat. If you have a multimeter you can check continuity of the heat element.

If you think this solution helped you please vote 4 thumbs up and give me a testimonial.

Thanks
Ash

DWH B10 F3 - no heat. Stops at rinse and beeps + flashes 3 times

Hello

The majority of dishwashers are not connected to hot water from the mains but heat up the water internally using the heating element, located in the tub of the dishwasher, controlled by a thermostat. When the dishwasher has a fault with heating, the program will run but not complete and will show an error code on the display panel. Dishes won't be cleaned properly and the detergent won't dissolve.

If your dishwasher does bring in hot water externally from the mains to check the water is warm and there are no problems with the inlet. If the dishwasher heats internally then it is most likely a faulty heating element or thermostat. A fault like this will usually require a replacement part and a repair, but you can check the heating element with a voltmeter to ensure that it is the cause of the problem before calling out for a service engineer.

Does your machine take in hot or cold water. If it takes in hot water the element that heats and maintains the heat may be defective. If it takes in cold water the element is heating it but the thermostat is cutting out the element at too low a temperature. Normally dishwashers take in cold water and heat it to the required temperature, which would mean that the thermostat is faulty?

Dishwasher cycle runs: tablet is not dissovlved, dishes dirty

If the dry cycle has a problem, check these:

Heating element
Drying fan
Thermostat
Heating element Your dishwasher has an electrical heating element that helps to dry the dishes. If the element is burned out, the dishes won't dry properly, and you need to replace the element.

Drying fan Many high-priced dishwashers have a small fan that blows air or heated air into the dishwasher to speed up the drying process. If the fan is defective, you need to replace it.

Thermostat Some dishwashers have a thermostat that monitors the drying temperature. If the thermostat is defective, the heating element may not cycle on or off properly. If that's the problem, you need to replace the thermostat.

Dishwasher fault codes

the heating element is probably bad.
i have a idl 600 here in naples italy and it would fill up and go into alarm light 2 and 4 and pump out the water.
heating element cost 28 euro and i changed it out.
had to change the clamps as well.
if you ohm the element it should show about 100 ohms.
if it is open its bad.
the mother board does some checks and if anything fails it alarms out and drains the water after a few minuts
