Question about Panasonic DMR-E85H DVD Recorder
First it just stopped working like it didn't have any power on. For about a day. Then the power came back on for about two days, and then it stopped working again. It hasn't worked anymore for over a week. No power completely dead?
I had same problem. I replaced two bad capacitors on the power supply
card. See http://vassfamily.net/projects/DMRE85H/dmre85h.html The
capacitors I replaced were C1260 and C1261 slightly different from the
one on "vassfamily.net". Everything works now for me...
Also for those interested, I found the "commands" listed on http://www.dxcc.com/dmr-e85h.htm useful when operating the DMR-e85h to correct problems.
