!st if you don't use FB then go through and delete the FB app most phones have in the program files, then delete all your internet cookies, history and cache, shut phone off then start back up. You should be good to go, then stay away from FB because if you go back there then you'll get the messages again.

Ok, What is the make and model of your old cell phone? If your phone is good enough that the browser can go to facebook, then it's not really that old,and trust me, if you have internet access, then dump your cookies and history and it'll go away, if it doesn't it's because you have and APP running in the background.I do IT for a living and I see this all the time.
