Is the wireless indicator on. Many laptops have a switch that turns of your wireless card to save power. You may have bumped it off accidentally.

Wireless not seeing internet but ethernet is

Try uninstalling the wireless adapter from the control panel. Reboot the system (although with Window 7 that shouldn't be necessary), and let it Windows auto-discover the device again. Disable/enable doesn't for Windows to re-install everything.

This is worked for me on Vista:
1. Goto Network and Sharing Center.
2. Click on your Wireless Connection "View Status".
3. Click on Propertes.
4. Uncheck the option that says "Internet Protocol Version 6"

When I did this, my wireless began working again.

Acer extensa 5620 wireless disconnects & re-connects on its own with windows vista

there are a lot of factors that might affect your wireless connection. how far is your laptop from your wireless router when it disconnects? do you have any microwave oven, satellite tv, or cordless phones between the laptop and router? are you using the acer wireless manager or the windows manager?

About my wireless card...

reset the network settings both on the computer and your router and start again. go to the website for your router and enter the ip or mac address for your wirless card and enable it on your network. to get your computer to recognise the network, turn off wireless, plug it in the local area connection first then for a few minnutes then enable the wireless and unplug the wire and it should recognise.

Internet problem

Are you attempting to access your own wireless router? Do you know how to access your wireless router configuration? Does your wireless router support wired connections? If so, does your computer work on the on the wired connection? What is the manufacturer and model of the wireless router, laptop computer and if a separate accessory the wireless network card?

Thanks

Wireless

Can you connect your computer up by wire to your wireless router? (This assumes your wireless router has ports other than the wan port for connection to your internet source.) test this to see if it works. If this is successful done please provide the information for your wireless router manufacturer and model. I am assuming you are using the built in wireless for the laptop. Otherwise I do not believe I can step you through any possible issues.
