Its pretty clear that there is no problem with the remote you have as both the options are not working in your case.. so why not see a expert in the locality.. its a small problem related to the connection on it. but dont do it your self.. as its a good TV .. take help from experts frens if u have 1.. also it won't cost u much if you call a mechanic.. hv nice time.. rate me!!

Samsung lcd tv can't find a source, buttons on remote control don't respond, nor buttons on the control panel on the right side of the TV device

consult the owner manual or call Samsung---this set likely has a lockout feature that locks both the remote and the keyboard out.

You might also want to research this by taking the model number and Google key words "remote lockout" etc.

The colours on my tv screen are all green and distorted can you tell me what the problem is its a samsung and its only 2 years old

YOU MAY HAVE CONNECTED THE RECEIVER TO AN INPUT ON THE TV THAT IS INCORRECT FOR THE SIGNAL OUTPUT FROM THE RECEIVER.

GET YOUR TV BACK ON THE CORRECT INPUT OR CHANNEL...CYCLE YOUR TV THROUGH ITS INPUTS BY...PRESSING THE INPUT, SOURCE, OR TV/VIDEO BUTTON ON YOUR TV REMOTE OR THE TV ITSELF.

IF THE PICTURE IS NOT RESTORED, CHANGE YOU TV TO CHANNEL 3 OR 4 USING TV REMOTE OR THE TV ITSELF.

IF THIS IS A 2ND TV, TUNE YOUR TV TO CHANNEL 60-73 USING THE BUTTONS ON YOUR TV REMOTE OR THE TV ITSELF.

ONCE YOUR TV PICTURE IS RESTORED, PRESS AND RELEASE THE SAT MODE BUTTON ON YOUR REMOTE TO ENSURE YOU'RE IN THE PROPER MODE FOR CONTROLLING YOUR RECEIVER.

YOU CAN ACCESS YOUR FEATURES, SETTINGS ETC, ON YOUR MENU BUTTON ON YOUR TV REMOTE.

HOPE THIS HELPS!

I can't get the picture to fully fill the screen on my 46'' TV. Model code ln46a750r1fxza. Used the ''tools'' button on the remote and tried adjusting the picture size, but it did not correct the problem....

First set your tv to 16:9 aspect ratio. Then go to the source ie: Cable Box or Sat Box. Then go into the User Menu and find the Set Up or HD settings or picture settings. You need to set the Box to the "Stretch" setting. Right now your source box is set ot 4:3 aspect ratio.. If you have difficulty in changing the aspect ratio on the source box, call the Cable or Sat co. They can help you.

Hi CindyCee,

I have tried to post solutions, but they seem to be too long, so I will have to post more than once to get the info to you.

First part- the "Line-In" Video Source thing many people are having fun with. Try these options from the Samsung FAQs website.:

The screen is blue and says VIEDO 1 on it I have removed the batteries in the remote and unplugged the tv and unplugged the cable and I still can't get it to work???

You have to change the input / source setting on the TV. Samsung generally call this "source". Look for a button for that name on the remote, or on the front panel. Press it until it's set to "TV" or "CATV" or "ANT" and the picture returns. You may have to pause briefly while changing sources.

If you still can't change the source, please provide the model number.

Source picture changing by itself

litigation- O.k if your tv is cycling through the menu ect. it sounds like you have a bad tact switch.Try pressing the contol panel buttons repeatedly, most of the time the remote is used so the tact switches go bad. Try this out ,it may help to clean the contacts. Just make sure you press them alot,it helps most of the time,if not you may wind up in the repair shop.Have fun and let me know. cooltek Mar,4/08
