You need a surpresser.
The problem is that there is 'feed back',
from the alternator output to the head unit.
Have fun:

Yamaha outboard 90/65 4stroke jet only getting 5000 rpms. New motor with 6 hours on19' flat bottom boat. Tach is flashing a engine symbol. Suggestions?

The amount of RPM's on a boat motor depend on a number of things...
1. Height if the motor in relation to the bottom of the boat. - too high and it over rev's.. Too low and it won't rev..
2. The correct size (O.D.) of the prop. Too large and you have mechanical interference or too large for the motor to spin...- ..Too small and the motor will over rev!!
3. The correct pitch of the prop. - Too large/big of pitch and the motor can't spin it..-.. too small and it will over rev the motor.
..... these are the big three...
Now, Make sure the carburetor butterfly(s) are opening exactly flat or vertical ...and not under/over opening..if this is a fuel injected motor...have the dealer check it out..

Do you have printable installation instructions for the Roadview RHM 7.0 headrest? We seem to have misplaced ours. Thank you

Headrests slots are different in many vehicles. You can take the slots out of your other car & install them into the SUV bit it is a pain to do. Most are sewed in. Take small edged knife with thin blade, cut down the side of the slot, close to metal so to cut the stiches holding it in place. Some use Glue. Then take out other slots from headrest in SUV, same way. If glued, thats good, just glue your set to use back in. If stiched, just buy Auto Uphostery Glue & use that. Will work. Good Luck, not easy task.

My 2008 avenger will not hold any charge in the battery. It sat still for a month where I was away and the battery flattened after which it does not seem to want to charge! I don't know if it's related but...

If yu have allowed the battery to completely discharge then the chemical reactions in it have caused the apparition of lead sulphate instead of lead oxide - this can't be decomposed so the battery has lost its capability to hold a charge. Because of that the alternator is overstressed and buzzing.
Replace the battery immediately.

97 f-150 high pitched wine from radio, buzzing behind instruments

If the whine changes pitch with engine RPM it could be a serious problem with the alternator. Possibly the voltage regulator, or a shorted diode in the alternator causing high frequency AC to be fed into the harness.
