Blue and green crt lenses need dis-assembled and internal cleaning and glycol coolant replaced w/ fresh stuff....tis a task for sure, if going to attempt, holla, have done a few here. chemical reaction between the glycol and aluminum, over time will build up a fungus(non-biological) over lens(electronic glaucoma), will not happen in red one because of red light spectrum won't allow growth

More info would be nice. Are you using HDMI or Component cables. If it is component cables (red, blue, green for video white and red for audio) Check your red and blue connection. Green alone will give you a black and white picture. If you are using an HDMI cable, replace the cable to see if this changes anything or if you have another tv swap cables to see if problem stays with tv or moves to another tv.
hi I would say blue and red depending how old is your tv you should check first with screen controls located near the right side speaker behind the front panel there are blue red green master screen control along with focus control just turn the controls clockwise and see what happens if the red and blue do not light up at all the tubes are not involve good luck
could be a number of things....check for bad solder connections on circuit board around Flyback xformer and also check connections on conversion module for colour problems....double images red , blue , green popping in and out.
The tuner in RCA is a known issue. I recommend connecting the satellite with RGB (Red-Green-Blue) component cables and red/white sound cables and use video. The picture will be better. The tuner repair can be pricey $$$
HI, thank you for visit fixya.
Common problem on this set .
Picture tube liquid is dirty.
Mostly in crt green and crt blue.
Do you have electronics skills?. If so, open the TV ( back cover), you will see green, blue and red gun. After turn on your tv, select any channel or video signal, cover with piece a paper two guns at the top ( any), and see how look the picture in the front, try one at time, ( press menu on remote control and see leters-clear). I am sure the green and blue will be no clear. all the time red tube is fine.
REPLACE COOLANT LIQUID PROJECTION ( solution).
I will be here for any quetions.
You have a projection TV - basically a red, green, and blue spotlight is shown onto the back of an opaque screen that creates the color picture you see. The spotlights you are seeing is common for a TV of this vintage and type.
According to the user's manual, you should ideally be sitting no closer than 10 feet to the screen.
Sitting closer to the screen may enhance the phenomenon you are experiencing.
