Default I DEFAULTED THE ROUTER BY RESET BUTTON AND KNOW CANT ACCESS UNIT.HELLLLP

There should be a small reset button on router which will reset to default,u will need. A pencil or similar to press it, the default username is usually admin and password is. Admin

Login: admin
Pasword: password

-most routers are defaulted to this setting... look up the instructions from the makers of your routers website.. yo'll be able to find out what the username and password is and then reset the router by taking a pin and pushing the reset button on the router...just remember the ip address so that you can access the router from a website when you reconnect everything.

Press the reset button on the router and hold it for about 10 seconds then the password should be removed or restored to the default one. You will lose all your settings.

You have several options. However, I'm unsure if you have lost the username/password to access your D-Link router's setup/configuration page or if you have lost your wireless access code (used to access your wireless internet).

If you have lost your username/password to your routers setup/configuration page first try the factory default combination.

The default username is: admin
The default password leave blank

If you have customized the username and password during the original install you will have to reset the router to its factory default settings. To do this:
PLEASE NOT THAT BY DOING THIS YOUR ROUTER WILL BE RESET TO FACTORY DEFAULT AND WILL HAVE TO BE RECONFIGURED
Locate the reset button (hole) on the rear panel of the unit. With the router powered on, use a
paperclip to hold the button down for 10 seconds. Release the button and the router will go through its reboot process.

Wait about 30 seconds to access the router. The default IP address is 192.168.0.1. When logging in, the username is: admin and leave the password box empty.

Every Router I know of no matter the brand will have a reset button on it.

That picture is for a Linksys router. Once you reset it the password will be defaulted.
To find the default password/username simply go to this site.

Find your brand and hit find password.

You will have to change it to a new one and to do this you will have to default your router back to factory defaults. To do this there is the hole that is marked reset next to your power connector. With the router on and by using a paper clip press and hold that button for about 12 seconds. After about two minutes the router will be at factory defaults. After the router is defaulted you will need to access your router by typing in http://192.168.0.1 login: admin and there will be no password. You will need to set your router back up and for your internet connection and open any ports on the router you need for gaming, security, etc...

The only solution for u to login in to the router is to reset the router.

1.If you forgot your password, you must reset your router. Unfortunately this process will change all your settings back to the factory defaults.

2.To reset the router, locate the reset button (hole) on the rear panel of the unit. With the router powered on, use a paperclip to hold the button down for 10 seconds. Release the button and the router will go through its reboot process.

3.Wait about 30 seconds to access the router.

4The default IP address is 192.168.1.1. When logging in, type in the default User Name “admin,” and the
default Password “admin” then click on the OK button to access the web-based manager.

To perform a factory reset:
 
Power off the router,
Hold down the recessed reset button on the rear of the unit (keep it held down)
Power on the router with the reset button still pressed down.
You will notice all the LAN lights flash at the same time which will indicate that the router has reset - this takes up to 30 seconds.
When all the LAN lights do flash simultaneously you can let go of the reset button.
 
Your router is now reset.  
The default IP address is "192.168.1.1" and the default password is "1234".
 
Now, do set the admin password again, other vice others can access your router and change the setup and set the password.

You mean the router password? By default there's no username and the password is admin. If you can't remember your previous password, you can just reset the router. Hold the reset button at the back of the router for 20 seconds then unplug the power for 30 seconds, plug it back in. It should be defaulted back to admin as the password.

Hold the reset button in for 10-15 seconds... Now its defaulted back to factory and the user name and pass will both be admin
