1 Answer

Robotek my driver for my Briadcom 802.11g keeps dumping and my wireless light goes off, sometimes when I try to reload the driver it says the device is not installed... I have used the device manager to fnd the device and it is not listed... I think the switch may be broken, because sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Screen is completely black now. When I try to boot up sometimes it will but then a blue screen with lines on it comes up then it goes blank and can't get it back

Blue screen errors are mostly associated with RAM problem or software issues. You can try reseating the RAM or it might need to be replaced.

Lost internet access WiFi and direct

Go to control panel > Device Manager > scroll down to the network devices and click on the plus sign. Highlight the wireless device. Right click on it and choose uninstall. click ok and reboot the system. When windows reloads, it will recognice the new device and want to load the drivers for it. It may ask you if it can search windows update for a fresh driver, allow it to continue. The drivers will load and the correct settings applied. All should be as it should.

My wireless mouse does not work at all the light doesnt even come on the usb i need help

Have you replaced battery in the mouse itself? Make sure USB is working, try another USB connection. Try other USB devices to rule out bad USB connection. To reload drivers for USB go to Device Manager and Delete Universal Serial Bus Controllers. Then restart your computer, it will automatically reload the drivers.

XP does not recognize the Intel wireless network adapter

Dell has a known problem with driver conflic the best remedy is to right click on my computer click on property open hardware uninstall the driver there and restart the conputer but first make sure you download the driver from intel and burn them on a cd then when you reinstall you won't have to try to figure out if everything is downloading also in security make sure that you allow this site so that all the drivers download.
but most of the time if these driver are on a card that is micrsoft certified it will be in the driver file and will reload automaticly when you restart the computer after uninstalling and it should elimenate the driver conflic.

Wireless Card not working

Possibility one: defective wireless card. Possibility two: improperly installed card driver.
Possibility three: wrong card driver
Possibility four: device conflict with card
For possibility four, does the card stop working when you use another device on your machine? Try disconnecting all other connected devices outside of the laptop (printers, scanners, webcams, MP3 players, etc) and see if the issue goes away. Keep us posted.

CF-73 Wireless Problem

You may need to install the driver for your wireless adapter manually. Go to Device Manager > Look for "Other Devices". Under "Other Devices" look for an item that could be your wireless adapter (trial and error method) , right click it and select update driver. Your wireless adapter can sometimes be "Network Controller" under Other Devices. If your first item under "Other Devices" does not recognize the driver that you supplied, proceed with the next item. Make sure you have the correct driver.

Good luck and have a nice day!

Have you tried to reinstall the device driver? Then check the network settings and see if the device is loaded. If you still cannot get the device to work, unplug it and restart your computer. Once reloaded replug in your device and system will recognize the device and load the drivers if they are on system already, if not it will ask fir the driver cd to be loaded.

Lost my Dog, Wife, Truck, Wireless

Hi , ive just recently purchased a faulty compaq m2000 laptop from ebay, this also had the same problem with the wireless connection. if you look at the underside of the laptop undo the cover for the ram then you'll be able to get to the screw to the wireless card cover. remove the wireless card and try re-seating the it and check the cables (black & grey) on it as thay can sometimes come loose.

Hope this helps.
