Check your memory and jumper settings. And as well check for any resistors to see if they are bubbled up. If they are bubbled up then your board is shot. And your going to have to replace the resistors..

Dell latitude d600- won't boot up!!!

Yes this can be a opverheating problem that's why sometimes it boots up, if the processor is not working fine because of overheating you check first the cooling system of your computer liek the fan if they are working fine because if the fan is not working the way it should be working oeverheating may occur and will result to this problem...

Hope that helps.......

Seems like your processor is getting overheated.
Check the heatsink for proper installation, and if possible apply fresh heat release compound.
Also make sure the fan is working and correctly attached.

I have a acer travelmate 290 and when i push the power button he start and right after this the processor stop (wont boot) and the light of the cd at the top of keyboard stay open please help me...

It could be many reasons. But worst one could be CPU fan failure. If your CPU fan is not working properly then your computer wont boot but most imp thing is, it could damage your processor coz of overheating.
Another reason may be faulty ram, motheboard problem, hardware failure etc.
so cant say for sure but make sure ur fan is cooling ur processor.
Hope it helps
