Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

No signal everything on my razor works as it should, but it acts like it has no reception. cant make/recieve calls or send texts. i have gotten one text message about 3 days after it was sent and it was showing good signal the whole time.

You need to remember that V3 razr are Quad band phones meaning that they have 4 bands 850/900/1800/1900mhz, you need to go to the network setting change it from automatic to manual and change the frequency to the correct one that you mobile provider works on...that should correct the phone problem.

As you said.... doesn't appear to be a cellular phone network problem.
Review all your settings
Return to the store you bought this from & ask for some help in setting it up.

Will send text but wont make calls

I had this problem only in reverse, i could make calls. The guy at Radio Shack just opened up the phone, took out the battery and the Sim card for about a minute or two, put it back together and everything worked. Hope this works for you.

My phone got wet

ur mobile keypad might got slight damage... since it got wet.... u can go to th authorised service centre for motorola an get ur keypad service.... so that ur prob get solved..... kindly rate me .... thank you....

How come my Nokia 7610 cant send anymore txts and cant recieve any either?? it also cant accept any calls.. and also my phone battery gets drained so easily

Hi!... If the phone has signal an then you can't send and recieve text try to goto> Message> Message settings> Message Center Number or Center number , then compare it with another user with the same network if its the same or else copy his/her Msg Center Number if he' she is able text... And for your battery problem, how long are you using the battery?... If you always leave it overnight charging so it might be damaged or leak,... Try to buy a new battery...

You may want to call your wireless provider to make sure they haven't blocked text messaging on your account. I had text messaging blocked on my account for a while because I had two children on my account and couldn't trust them not to run up the bill.

Cannot make/recieve calls+Text (T-Mobile)

This happens to me aswell. I think its because the phone is stolen. When i try to make a call, theres a beeping sound and texts fail to send, although there is reception & the phone works perfectly.

You cant even call 999, which doesnt happen with other blocked phones, so i reckon the police must be trying to trace the calls.

I dont know if this helps but im trying to think of a solution aswell.

Motorola razr unable to send multi media texts?

Most likely, your provider did not activate the text messaging for sending. The phone company has to activate the features to allow usage.

No reception? HELP??

It sounds like your phone is not unlocked. Did you get the phone through a different provider and your sim card through some one else? For ex, here in US, a cingular SIM will not work in a Sprint phone.
