I can't believe it is fixed!!!! I have never been able to fix anything!! You are awesome! Thank you so much! You are a genius!
(It did sound like it was going to blow up)
Thanks for the info was very simple to remedy and I will replace the tube when it needs to be replaced.
So glad that I did not have to replace the whole unit as it was working fine before the error message! Also good for the environment to keep things working - I wonder if Epson thought of that?
a window pops up when i click on print and it says not matches found, i have did the self help test page and that is fine and also the hp untillity diagnostic and that was fine and the cartriges r fine
Thjis is indication the Waste in collector pades need changing eventually.- but no now. you have plenty of warning Reset Epson R300/200 press three buttons to reset the counters The buttons are "STOP" "Maintenance" and "POWER" or down load the epson utility www.ssclg.com and use the reset counter feature
The printer will sound like its going to blow up, but thats normal.
You can do this about 5 times before your printer starts to piss out ink over the table because the Waste Ink Ink Pad is full
To avoid eventual flooding go to rear of the machine- remove the little door and rake around for a small plastic pipe buried under some padding under the left side. Fix to this a thin piece of ploythene tube[Fish tank air supply], extend it to our side the machine and place in a suitable container to collect the waste ink..

Hi my R300 keeps giving the message (Service required. Printer parts are at the end of service life.) I think its the ink pads that need replacing.
How can I sort this problem, can I do it myself, or is there repair centre were I can take it.
I am pretty handy with a screwdriver.
Any help will do.
