Question about Microsoft WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL SP3 ENGLISH 1PK DSP OEI CD W/MULTIPLE MUI Full Version OEM for PC
I have Windows XP SP3. I had the theme software WindowBlinds on my computer. Then after I uninstalled the software, some 25 50MB-files were left on my computer, and I couldn't remove them. Every time I try to delete them, I get the message: "Cannot delete file. Cannot read from the source file or disk." I had even tried to delete them using Safe Mode and the same thing happens. I had even scanned with an antivirus software and I get the message: "The filename, volume label, or label syntax is incorrect."
I had tried with all file shredders, and all antivirus programs.
Any ideas of how to delete those files.
First, try a registry cleaner. After that, right click on the files and check properties. Uncheck read only.

Tips for a great answer:
Do one of the following:
If you downloaded SP3 from the website, to install it immediately, click Open or Run and follow the instructions on your screen. To install the program later, click Save and download the installation file to your computer. When you're ready to install the service pack, double-click the file.
If you're installing SP3 from the Service Pack 3 CD, insert the disc into your computer with your current version of Windows XP running, and the Software Update Installation Wizard should automatically appear. If this wizard doesn't appear, click Start, double-click My Computer, right-click your CD or DVD drive, and then click AutoPlay.
On the Windows XP Service Pack 3 page, click Next.
Follow the instructions that appear on your screen.
After the installation is complete, click Finish to restart your computer.
If you disabled your antivirus software, enable it again.
