Question about Computers & Internet
Hi all, I have just bought a Numark turntable which is linked to my Toshiba laptop using their EZ software. Everything works and the files transfer to iTunes & I can hear the music ok but, when I go into iTunes there are 2 tracks of every track if you get my drift. In short, if there are 10 tracks on a record I end up with 20.
Secondly, how do you pause when recording to turn the record over to side 2. There is no pause button on my screen.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Copy all the songs into a folder, then look for duplicates, delete them, then delete all the songs in iTunes and then replay them (as MP3 Files) and they'll be moved into iTunes again else..Delete all of your music in your iTunes. Import all your music back into iTunes and in one of the submenus should be "view duplicates"delete the duplicates.
then in one of the submenus should be "consolidate library"
clicking this will move all of your music into one consolidated folder

the mic is in the computer somewhere, there will be a way to mute the microphone either in the vinyl software or in the system settings of the computer!

SOURCE: No sound from iTunes audio files
it sounds like EZ A C did not get the audio or EZ put it in a format tha Itunes Cant play. download VLC media player and install it. open the file with VLC and se if it will play it. It will play just about anything it has most of the codex's need to play anything too. if it doesent play it then something is wrong with the input to EZ A C you might have the input muted.

Press STOP to stop recording.
Click "save" and save the recording to a file in your "My Documents" folder.
Open your "My Documents" folder.
What is the "size" of the file?
Click with the SECOND (usually the RIGHT) mouse-button on the file, and click 'Play' (with Windows Media Player).
Does it play?
Does Windows Media Player show the correct length (minutes:seconds) for the recording?
