Question about Maytag PYE2300AY Electric Dryer
Attempted to use the dryer one day and it was just dead. I can hear the timer ticking, but the dryer is not coming on. What part should I try replacing?
Hi, It sounds like the fuse inside the fryer might be bad. Here is a picture of the fuse.
To locate this fuse, insert a flat blade between the top and the front panel. There are 2 spring clips that will release the top. The heater and fuse are on the top rear of the drum. The fuse you willneed to test is #5 in the picture. If the fuse shows an open circuit, it will need replaced.
Please let me know if this helps you or if I can assist you further.
