How do I get a DVD to eject from a 2005 Buick terazza?

I recently had a problem similar to this. My CD player elevator jammed and wouldn't play or eject. My car was hit in the rear at about 40 mph. It unjammed the elevator..... it totaled the car also. I DON'T recommend having your vehicle totaled but perhaps a hefty whack with a rubber mallet might unjam it.

Put some fuel injector cleaner in your next few tanks of gas. It will slowly dissolve the gunk and save you a bunch of money that a garage will want for cleaning your system.

After cleaning the DVD Navigation screen is hazey and streaky

I'm in IT and must perform hardware repairs on laptop LCDs all the live long day. The only product I've like is "iKlear" and a clean soft piece of terry cloth. You can usually find this in electronic shops or just order it online from any number of vendors.

Car in dash cd/dvd player

Most in car dvd players require a connection to the parking brake so it will not play a dvd while you are driving (in dash only). The easiest way around it is to run a 12v wire to the lead of the parking brake wire on the dvd player. With a constant 12v it should play when the ignition is in the on position.

First off, it is illegal to override it to play while driving. That being said, if I was to try to override it I would find out what signal it senses to say that you are parked. Once this is found, simply apply that signal constantly to the proper wire. Do an internet search and you will likely find your answer. Different manufactuers approach the situation in different ways.
