Hello Ruaal,

The frequencies in the TalkAbout T5720 are not adjustable. The radio operates on the designated Family Radio Service channels located at 462 and 467 MHz. There is no way to change these channels to be at 463 and 464 MHz.

Best regards,

Yes. Set all programming to match one another. Turn off the Qt filter, if any. Below are links to the owners manuals where you will find programming instructions to program the Frequency and Interference Eliminator Code.

How do you transmit from a cb radio to a talkabout fr60 and vice versa

CB radios and TalkAbout FR60 radios will not communicate together. CBs are 26-27.5 MHz and TalkAbout radios operate on FRS and GMRS frequencies between 462-467 MHz.

Why is not possible to communicate from T5720 talkabout to T5422 talkabout?

The two radios share no frequencies in common. The T5720 has the US frequencies classified as FRS and GMRS, between 462-467 MHz. The T5422 has the UK frequencies classified as PMR and dPMR which are in the 446 MHz range.

A list of UK frequencies can be found in this forum: http://www.transmission1.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=23400

In the USA the TalkAbout radios operate on FRS (family radio service) frequencies which do not require a license. Not certain of the laws in other countries.

I have a set of T7450 talkabout One of them when you transmit the other person can hear you but all you get back is a high pitched sound and static. sometimes it will work ok.

Check your batteries. One simple check is to trade the batteries between the units and see if the problem moves to the other radio.

Motorola T7450 Charger Light is Out. Not Charging??

In most cases when the charger light will no longer illuminate, the charger is bad. (They are somewhat like a lightbulb. They will burn out over time.) You should be able to find another one online or at your local Motorola dealer for $15 US or less.

How do I Reset my T5000 2 way radio to factory default

The T5000 Talkabout radio default settings are not the same as the CP100 and CLS. The CLS and the CP100 UHF are capable of being programmed to match one another on several frequencies, however, the TalkAbout T5000 is not capable of any of them.

The Talkabout radios, as a general rule, are limited to FRS and GMRS frequencies. The CP100 and CLS are from the business and light consumer divisions. They will do most of the common 56 UHF business frequencies.

If you would like to look at the frequency charts yourself, here are some links.
